Ivan V. Jimenez, was born and raised in a small village in the centre of the Basque Country. From a very young age, he was and is, a very curious and open-minded person. His curiosity and desires of adventures, tooks him to observe everything and anything that surrounds him.  A must for him was always carrying a camera to capture what his eyes could see. Documenting his daily life was the spark that ignited his vocation for filmmaking. In order to follow his passion and dreams, he decided to leave his hometown and study cinematography at ECIB, Escuela de Cine de Barcelona, where he made his new base.

He is constantly looking for opportunities to expand his current knowledge, resources and views in order to push his person al limits on the cinematography scenario. Combining his creativity, storytelling skills and technical abilities to create meaningful images, Ivan enjoys using light as a form of narrative expression to develop all kinds of projects, such as documentaries, commercials or fashion films.
